Enter Mala Campra in Palm Coast, Florida: This might not have been the toughest trail in the world, but for a flat coastal area, it's a pretty fun singletrack. Very cruisey; great log/bridge/root features (even though it's hard to tell with GoPro as it doesn't capture depth so well). Plenty of advanced detours, but we took the easy way since we had a super short time constraint. Still had tons of tight turns and close calls.

ReplyDeleteI'm working on making them cooler. I had a nice crash on a sudden uphill that came after a sharp turn; actually endo-ed (how do you spell that word?) right into the ground between two tight trees. I scrubbed the video to find it but it disappeared; I think that would have been a terrific slow-mo spot to highlight. ha ha
